UPVAN Refund & Return Policy

At UPVAN, we take utmost care in growing, packing, and delivering healthy plants to your doorstep. As we deal in live plants, each plant is unique and may vary slightly in appearance, size, shape, and color. Please read our refund and return policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Return Policy

Due to the perishable nature of live plants, we do not accept returns once an order has been delivered.

However, if you receive a plant that is damaged during transit, incorrect, or in poor condition upon arrival, we are happy to assist you with a replacement.

2. Replacement Policy

You may be eligible for a replacement if:

  • You receive a damaged plant.

  • You receive the wrong product.

  • The plant arrives in severely unhealthy condition.

  • The package is visibly damaged and has affected the plant's health.

To request a replacement, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • Your Order ID

  • Clear photographs of the plant

  • Photographs of the packaging

  • A brief description of the issue

Requests submitted after 24 hours of delivery may not be eligible for replacement.

3. Refund Policy

Refunds are generally not provided for live plants.

Refunds may be considered only in the following situations:

  • The ordered product is unavailable and cannot be replaced.

  • A replacement is not possible.

  • The order is cancelled by UPVAN before dispatch.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

4. Natural Variations

As plants are living products, slight variations are natural and should not be considered defects. These include:

  • Minor differences in height, color, or leaf count.

  • Slight variations from product images.

  • Minor leaf damage due to transportation stress.

  • Temporary yellowing of a few leaves during transit.

Such conditions generally recover with proper care and are not eligible for refunds or replacements.

5. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting our customer support team.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

6. Delivery Issues

Please ensure that the shipping address and contact details provided are accurate.

UPVAN shall not be responsible for delays or delivery failures resulting from:

  • Incorrect shipping information

  • Customer unavailability

  • Refusal to accept delivery

In such cases, additional shipping charges may apply for re-dispatch.
